Sanitation Facilities such as improved drinking water sources (clean water supply) and private sanitation facilities such as latrines and flush toilets with sewage connection are being put into countries in Africa.

Access to the improved sanitation facilities provide cleaner water that prevents disease and illness through contamination, and also human,animal,and insect contact with excreta resulting in illness and disease.
